The Philadelphia Eagles have officially announced the inactives list for their Week 3 game against the Indianapolis Colts. The following players have been ruled OUT: Jay Ajayi Color Rush Destiny Vaeao Jersey , Alshon Jeffery, Darren Sproles, Nate Sudfeld, Matt Pryor, Jordan Mailata, and Chance Warmack.Ajayi and Sproles were ruled out on the final injury report. Neither player was able to participate in practice this week. The good news is that Corey Clement WILL play despite being ruled questionable on Friday. He figures to receive a bulk of Philadelphia’s running back touches. Wendell Smallwood and Josh Adams (making his NFL debut) are the only two active running backs behind Clement.Jeffery was ruled questionable heading into this week’s game but it was never expected that he’d play. It seems like he could be poised to return in Week 4. In the meantime, the Eagles only have Nelson Agholor, Kamar Aiken, Shelton Gibson Color Rush Corey Graham Jersey , and Jordan Matthews active at wide receiver.Jason Peters is ACTIVE despite being ruled questionable on the final injury report. Not a surprise considering he said he’d play and Doug Pederson expected him to suit up as well. The question is: how long will Peters be able to remain in the game? He had to come out early against the Bucs last week. Sudfeld is back to being inactive as the third string quarterback now that Carson Wentz is back. Super Bowl MVP Nick Foles is Wentz’s backup, of course.Pryor, Mailata, and Warmack have been inactive for all three games so far. Reminder that Warmack is carrying a $2 million cap hit.Josh Sweat is active for the first time in his NFL career. It was looking like the G-Men were going to have one last drive to attempt a comeback but punt returner Kaelin Clay muffed the ball and the Jags recovered to seal the deal. Overall, it was a relatively unimpressive start for the Giants http://www.authenticsphiladelphiaeagles ... eod-jersey , who went 3-13 last year. The 37-year-old Eli Manning went 23/37 for 224 yards, zero touchdowns, one interception (a pick six), and a 67.9 passer rating. Still not scaring anybody. Saquon Barkley did flash with an impressive 68-yard touchdown run. But prior to that point it was apparent how he could easily struggle behind a bad Giants offensive line. Barkley only mustered 38 combined yards on his other 17 carries (2.2 average) of the game. The always uninspiring Pat Shurmur lived up to his reputation by failing to go for it on a key fourth-down play. The Giants also had a delay of game penalty coming out of halftime. Oh and Shurmur lost a challenge where a Jaguars running back was clearly down. The Jaguars — whom the Eagles play in Week 8 — didn’t look so great either. Their defense is certainly still solid, but Blake Bortles is just clearly bad. Not to be outdone, the Giants’ defense allowed a 41-yard run to him. On a day when the Eagles don’t play, it’s always good to see one of their division rivals lose. Let’s see if the Cowboys and/or Washington will join the Giants.
